Initial reports suggest the accident occurred around 8 p.m. According to eyewitness Nandalal Saha, the motorcycle was found with its lights still on, partially submerged in water, but Singh\u2019s body was not immediately located. The police have launched an investigation, registering a case of accidental death to determine the exact cause of the mishap.<\/span><\/p>\n

Residents have expressed frustration and anger, attributing the accident to the alleged negligence of the Water Resources Department. The trench, situated near the Hatimura embankment, was reportedly unbarricaded, posing a significant risk to passersby. Locals assert that the absence of safety measures directly contributed to Singh\u2019s untimely death. \u201cHad the eroded portion of the embankment been barricaded, this tragedy might have been averted,\u201d remarked a concerned resident.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ajay Singh, a resident of Rangloo, Kaliabar, leaves behind a grieving family. His motorcycle, bearing the registration number AS-02-AR-4969, has been secured by Jakhalabandha police as part of the ongoing investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n
