A notable alumnus of the esteemed Jawaharlal Nehru University, Mahanta furthered his education as a Rotary World Peace Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2002 to 2004. This fellowship gave him the platform to undertake significant research across Europe and South Asia, enriching his academic and professional perspectives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout his illustrious career, Mahanta has made a name for himself as a prolific author and insightful commentator on regional and national issues. His contributions to education and public discourse were recognized in 2009 when he received the Education Research and Development Foundation Excellence Award.
