The leaders of the organizations mentioned in a press conference held at the central office of ASDC in Diphu that, following discussions with the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, there will be a meeting on February 20th involving leaders from all parties, student bodies, and social organizations in Karbi Anglong.<\/span><\/p>\n

The protest organizations have stated that if the discussions with the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council are not successful, they will resume their peaceful democratic protests. They have clarified that there has been no official shutdown declared in Karbi Anglong, and the stoppage of activities has been spontaneous.
