The normally peaceful area was the scene of a fatal confrontation where a woman in her sixties, identified as Joytun Nessa, was reportedly assaulted by her daughter-in-law, Asfa Begum, leading to her tragic death.<\/span><\/p>\n On an otherwise normal Thursday, a family dispute took a devastating turn. According to reports, Shams Uddin, the son of the deceased and husband of the accused, had left their home for work, as was his routine. He left behind his elderly parents, wife, and three children. It was on this day that Asfa Begum allegedly attacked her children for not attending the mosque on time. Hearing the commotion, Joytun Nessa stepped in to protect her grandchildren, which led to a violent response from Asfa Begum.<\/span><\/p>\n Authorities stated that during the altercation, the grandmother was so severely beaten by her daughter-in-law that she fell unconscious. Upon receiving the news, Shams Uddin rushed home and immediately took his mother to the nearest hospital.
